Sharjah24- His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. (63) of 2023 appointing Hamad Jumaa Al Shamsi as the new Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS).

Hamad Jumaa Al Shamsi will take on the role of Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, simultaneously becoming a member of the Emirate's Executive Council. This appointment aligns with Sharjah's commitment to strengthen its administrative and leadership capabilities.

This decree is based on the legal framework provided by Law No. (2) of 1999, which established Sharjah's Executive Council, Law No. (2) of 1998, which created the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, as well as Law No. (6) of 2015, governing human resources in Sharjah, and Executive Council Decision No. (32) of 2022, which pertains to the promotion and appointment of the Director of the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey.

The decree is effective immediately upon issuance and will be implemented by the relevant authorities. It will also be published in the official gazette.
