Sharjah24: Fatima Musa Al Balushi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work stated that more than 30 people participated in the Award's institutional volunteer work program in Kalba.

The Sharjah Award for Volunteer Work organised on Monday and Tuesday an awareness program on institutional volunteering management at the Kalba Literary Council, with the participation of a number of government employees and institutions, as well as those interested in volunteer work.

According to Fatima Musa Al Balushi, the initiative, which began in 2018, consisting of Sharjah as well as cities in the Eastern and Central regions, aims to familiarise participants about the methodologies for institutional volunteering management, contributing to empower various institutions and their affiliates to adopt different volunteer programs and initiatives with high efficiency.

In her exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24", Al Balushi added that the Award is keen to organise such programs to familiarize volunteers with their rights and duties in the areas of volunteer work, enhancing their professionalism in program management, therefore ensure the opportunities of institutions and individuals to participate and apply for the award.
