Sharjah 24: On the sidelines of the 4th edition of Women in Tech Forum and Awards held at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), Ayumi Moore Aoki, Founder and CEO of Women in Tech, stressed the importance of having more women in the field of technology, and the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE are leading efforts to empower women at this level in the region.
She expressed her happiness and pride of this collaboration that started in 2020 with His Excellency Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, and now under the patronage of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of SRTI Park.
She highlighted that it is important to have more women in technology, in which we recognise their efforts, so that they become inspiration for the next generations to come, adding that there are so many talented women on stage who came to receive their awards, which is extremely fulfilling to witness.
She stressed her admiration of the women in the UAE and its leadership, since the UAE empowers women to express themselves, and that we need more women leaders who drive innovation in entrepreneurship, maintaining that the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE are leading women's empowerment efforts in the region.
