Sharjah 24: The match between Sharjah Club and Qatari Al Sadd Sports Club, in the first leg of the group stage of the AFC Champions League, ended in a goalless draw, with each team adding a point to its score before the return match next week.

Sharjah and Al Sadd tied 0-0, at the beginning of the two teams' journey in the group stage of the AFC Champions League for the second group.

Before the match, Sharjah Club announced that its player, Mohamed Abdel Basit, was injured, so coach Cosmin included player Majed Sorour instead.
