Sharjah 24: The Central Region Police Department held a coordination meeting headed by Colonel Hamid Al Jallaf, Acting Director of the Central Region Police Department, to discuss readiness and preparations for the 2023-2024 winter season for visitors to the wilderness areas in the Central Region.

This came in the presence of representatives of the Special Tasks Department, the Traffic and Patrols Department, the Operations Department, and the Media and Public Relations Department, and a number of directors of external stations and heads of departments.

The meeting reviewed the latest statistics related to the results of past seasons, in addition to the topics on the agenda.

A number of topics were discussed that enhance security and safety in wilderness areas, emphasising the readiness of the Central Region Police Department to receive the winter season in cooperation with other departments by providing all security measures, in addition to reviewing the established plans of launching awareness campaigns for the public and intensifying the security presence.
