Sharjah 24: As part of its objective to promote marine sports of all types, the UAE Marine Sports Federation has announced the design of new branding that honours the organisation's theme, (When passion meets the ocean).

The announcement marks a fresh start towards the future, building on the more than 26 years of history, achievements, and memories since the company was founded in 1996.

The Emirates Marine Sports Federation's President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, said that the unveiling of the new logo and branding is in keeping with the goals of the UAE government and the directives of the wise leadership, as well as the federation's long-term strategic plan.

According to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, the new visual identity represents the flag of the United Arab Emirates interwoven with the sails of sailboats among the waves of the ocean. Together, they use the compass to point in the right direction.

He emphasised the United Arab Emirates' role as an environmental role model, noting that the federation has organised numerous initiatives and awareness campaigns in collaboration with its strategic partners in the government and private sectors to better safeguard the region's marine and coastal ecosystems and ensure the long-term viability of its resources.
