Pashinyan accuses Baku of trying to 'nullify' peace process

Sharjah24 – AFP: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan accuses arch foe Azerbaijan of of trying to "nullify" the peace process between the two countries as talks under the mediation of the European Union, United States, and separately Russia have brought about little progress.
Tensions escalated earlier in July when Azerbaijan shut the Lachin corridor, the sole road linking the Armenian-populated Nagorno-Karabakh with the Armenian mainland, a move that sparked fears of a humanitarian crisis and that has led Pashinyan to frequently speak of "genocide" in the region.

Baku and Yerevan have fought two wars over Nagorno-Karabakh, with Azerbaijan retaking most of the territory surrounding the mountainous enclave in 2020.
