Sharjah24: The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), organised the 'Make it in the Emirates' Forum. Reem Nasser Al Otaiba, Project Manager of the 'Make it in the Emirates' Forum stated exclusively to "Sharjah 24" that the forum's major goals are to support local business and draw foreign investors to the UAE. She further explained that the Forum will provide necessary information to investors to initiate industrial activities in the country, familiarising them with the job market and opportunities.

The Forum, running from May 31 to June 1, 2023, at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center, is designed to encourage companies to establish operations in the UAE. The Abu Dhabi Energy Center hosted the event.

Al Otaiba added that multiple agreements for the start of industrial projects within the UAE were signed during the meeting between local and foreign businesses. A number of factories were also symbolically inaugurated throughout the celebrations, demonstrating the nation's dedication to encouraging industrial development and achieving economic sustainability.
