Sharjah 24: Aisha Al Hosani, the general coordinator of the Dibba Al Hisn Festival for Dual Theatre, revealed that 5 Arab theatrical performances were presented in the activities of the sixth edition of the festival, which started on Friday at the Dibba Al Hisn Cultural Centre.

Several Arab countries pare participating in the event organised by the Theatre Section of the Department of Culture.

Al Hosani said that the opening show came from the UAE, under the title "Once Upon a Time", for the Dibba Al Hisn Society for Culture Arts and Theatre, and it was prepared and directed by Mohannad Karim, and played by Nabil Al Mazmi and Sherif Omar.

She added to “Sharjah 24” that the festival includes 5 interesting performances from the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan and Syria. It hosts many applied seminars for performances with the participation of elite critics and playwrights.

Al Hosani explained that on the sidelines of the distinguished theatrical performances, the festival management organises many training workshops for playwrights, teachers, and amateurs in addition to organising the 18th Sharjah Arab Theatre Forum under the slogan "Theatre and Music".
