Sharjah 24: To improve its policies in developing the sports system, the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, formed the Sharjah Council Award Committee for Sports Sustainability, during its fifth 2023 meeting.

The Board of Directors entrusted the chairmanship of the committee to Nasser Al-Mahrezi, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club Strategic Planning Committee, to assume the committee tasks and encourage sports officials to support and inspire them to take advantage of their creative energies to work towards achieving sustainability.

The Sharjah Council Award Committee for Sports Sustainability will work in light of its tasks to complete Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club work, achieve its vision towards sustainability, and respond to all the requirements of the Sharjah Sports Council in this regard, while working with all Mleiha club committees to interact with the club’s members in providing the requirements for sports sustainability and working to put forward different projects.

Nasser Al-Mahrezi, member of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee and Chairman of the Sharjah Sustainability Council Award Committee, indicated that Mleiha Club is keen to achieve the requirements of the Award, which supports one of the main goals during 2023.

Al-Mahrezi noted that the Mleiha Club supports sports sustainability in providing a sustainable future for athletes and for future generations members of the club in different sports, with a focus on active efforts in achieving its goals towards a sustainable sports environment.

Al-Mahrezi expressed that Mleiha Club is ready to seriously participate in the Award to permanently establish the sustainability goals.
