Sharjah24: Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, lauded the efforts of Hayawa Suburb Council in organising the 2nd Ramadan Football Tournament For Adults, which concluded on Saturday at the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, stressing that the sports event enhances community cohesion.

Expressing his pleasure with the organisation of the event to “Sharjah24”, he stated that the department and the suburban councils are keen to organise such events which promote their prominent role in enhancing social intimacy and cohesion.

Concluding his statement, Al Kabouri appreciated the success of Hayawa Suburb Council’s Football Tournament For Adults, extending appreciation to the Council's partners, sponsors and supporters of the tournament, which lasted for 17 days, in which 6 teams competed, of which the Yarmouk team won the championship title after defeating the Al-Boom team in the final match with a score of 3-1.
