Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council will organise the second edition of the "Sharjah Charity Run" on Saturday, April 1.

With the expectation of 400 contestants, The race starts and ends at the Sharjah Mosque, where it will run for distances of 3, 5, and 10 kilometers, and the proceeds will go to the Big Heart Foundation.

Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Director of the Department of Sports and Community Events, stated that the race would start with the ten-kilometer race at ten in the evening. After that, the five-kilometer race will start, then the three-kilometer race.

It is scheduled that the winners will be crowned at 11:30 before midnight. The winners of the first three places will receive gold, silver and bronze medals, in addition to participation medals for all participants, bearing the symbols of the event.
