Sharjah24: The Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work (SAVW) stressed, in a meeting held at the award's headquarters in Sharjah, headed by Afaf Ibrahim Al Marri, the need to verify the documents' authenticity submitted for participation in the award.

The award's Committee for Screening spotted a nonauthentic file submitted for the 20th edition. As a result, the committee checked all documents submitted through coordination with the authorities that issued voluntary certificates to ensure their authenticity.

The Board of Trustees denounced this reprehensible act that offends volunteer work, stressing that whoever proves involvement in fraud will be permanently denied participation in future editions.
