Sharjah24: His Excellency Suleiman Jumao, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Council affiliated to the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, emphasised that the Iftar initiative gathered people of the city on one table in Ramadan as it is one of the long-standing customs in the blessed month .

The people of  Dibba Al-Hisn marked the advent of the holy month of Ramadan in their own way, as hundreds of people from government institutions, youth and children gathered on a unified Iftar table on Sunday in the Flagpole Square in a scene that embodies the solidarity and cohesion of people.

His Excellency Suleiman Jumao, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Council affirmed that the Iftar table is one of the customs that characterized the virtuous city for decades during the holy month.

He added to Sharjah 24 that it is one of the traditions that the people are keen to adhere to and pass on to new generations in order to consolidate the approach of cohesion in the society.

Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Council praised the cooperation efforts among various residents and a large number of government departments and institutions in organising this amazing event that gather those people on one table.
