Sharjah 24: On the sidelines of the 'Sharjah Diplomatic Day' organised by the Sharjah Department of Government Relations at the headquarters of Bee’ah, Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department highlighted the importance of exchanging opportunities and challenges with international partners to underscore the importance of advocating for initiatives that prioritise environmental conservation and action on climate change, which have now become critical diplomatic priorities.

Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi underscored the importance of the event that reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and the emirate’s in being a partner with other countries around the world.

He thanked the strategic partners headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for helping organise this event in a very important location- the headquarters of Bee’ah.

Chairman of the Department of Government Relations added: “In this year, the year of sustainability for the UAE, it is important to exchange opportunities and challenges with our international partners towards COP28.”
