Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the University of Sharjah, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, welcomed the founders of the worldwide IFFCO organisation on Tuesday.

His Highness greeted warmly the delegation of the multinational IFFCO firm, which had donated 2.5 million dirhams to the Scholar's Fund at the University of Sharjah to help financially struggling students get degrees and improve their educational standing via corporate sponsorship of tuition.

The President of the University of Sharjah has offered his best wishes to the multinational IFFCO company, which has its headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah, for their efforts to help students and the community via philanthropic donations.

The founders of IFFCO International Group expressed gratitude to His Highness and the University of Sharjah for the efforts made to elevate the university, which has assumed a great scientific position among the universities in the country and noted that the decision to contribute to the Scholar's Fund was motivated by a firm belief in the significance and value of the university's scientific research and educational outputs.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi gave the shield of the University of Sharjah to the founders of the worldwide IFFCO group at the conclusion of the conference and took remembrance pictures with them to commemorate their contributions to the community.
