Sharjah 24: Yasser Al Doukhi, Director of the Sharjah International Tour for Cycling (SITC), confirmed that the success of the 8th edition of the SITC comes as an integration of the efforts of government and private entities, during which many tourist sites and attractions that characterise the Emirate of Sharjah were visited, with the large participation of 156 cyclists representing 26 teams from 19 countries.

He expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’s support to SITC. 

He stated in statements to "Sharjah 24" that the fifth and final phase started from the Sharjah Safari in Al Dhaid to reach the Al Noor Mosque in Sharjah, during which many tourist sites and attractions that characterise the Emirate of Sharjah were visited.

He congratulated the players and teams that won the SITC’s awards for their participation and victory in the stages of the SITC.

At the end of the ceremony, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, honoured the winners of the SITC in its 8th edition, in the presence of a number of senior officials and representatives of the participating teams.
