SSC honours winners of Sharjah Int'l Cycling Tour

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) honoured youth and disabled winners participated in the races accompanying the Sharjah International Cycling Tour 2023 .
The youth tour started at 9:30 am with the participation of 24 riders representing the teams of Sharjah, Khorfakkan, Al Hamriyah, Dibba Al Hisn, Ittihad Kalba, Al Nasr, Shabab Al Ahly, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Al Arabi and Al Jazira Al Hamra.

The event was attended by His Excellency Abdulmalik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the Tawaf; Dhiban Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the UAE Paralympic Committee; His Excellency Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Council; Yasser Omar Al Dokhi, Director of Tawaf, Chairman of the Technical Committee and Referees and Salem Al Shehhi, Financial Director of the Arab Cycling Federation .

Mohammed Obaid Al-Aleili, player of Al-Hamriyah Club, won the first place and the gold medal and the cup, followed by Hareb Al-Marzouqi, player of Abu Dhabi Club, in second place, who won silver, while Obaid Majid Al-Shamsi, player of Al-Hamriyah Club won the third place .

Ahmed Al-Badwawi, player of the Dubai Club for the Handicapped, won the first place and the gold medal, while Abdullah Al-Balushi, player of the Dubai Club for the Handicapped, won the second place and the silver, while Salem Al-Junaibi of the Dubai Club for the Handicapped won the third place and the bronze. In the special bicycle race for the disabled, Rashid Al Dhaheri, player of Al Ain Club, won the first place and the gold medal, while Abdullah Al Ghafri, player of Al Ain Club, won second place and the silver medal, followed by Murad Al Balushi, player of Al Ain Club, won the third place .
