Sharjah24: According to Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society and a member of the Arab Federation for Astronomy and Space Sciences, an air depression that consists of cumulus clouds and nimbus clouds and is accompanied by medium and heavy rains in some areas has affected the United Arab Emirates and the countries bordering it.

Exclusively speaking to "Sharjah 24," Ibrahim Al-Jarwan verified that these depressions   are of a natural origin and not the consequence of the so-called "cloud seeding" procedure.

 

According to the Chairman of the Emirates Astronomical Society, 80% of the annual rainfall occurs in the first three months of the year (January, February, and March).
