"Aman Ya Beladi " focuses on anti-drug messages in sports

Sharjah24: On the weekly Sharjah Radio show "Be safe, my country," produced by the Media and Public Relations Department of the Sharjah Police, Captain Walid Al Zarooni of the Awareness and Aftercare Branch of the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Sharjah Police and Captain Hussein Suleiman Issa, Director of the Community Awareness Branch of the Community Police Department, spoke about their respective departments' efforts to combat drug abuse. Major Ibrahim Al Midfa hosted this episode.
Captain Walid Al Zarouni discussed the drug epidemic, its effects on society, the problems it causes, and the measures that may be taken to mitigate these effects. He also discussed the most recent trends and techniques utilised in the drug industry's marketing and smuggling efforts, as well as the demographics most likely to be affected.

Captain Hussein Suleiman Issa talked about how important it is for the community police force to use the role and energy of society, especially the family, to deal with bad things, like stopping the spread of drugs.

Major Ahmed Mubarak Al-Junaibi, speaking in a phone interview, said, "The Yes to Sports, No to Drugs campaign had an influence on raising awareness of the hazards of drug misuse and addiction and how to make the best use of spare time."
