Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), stated that the visit of the President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, to Sharjah will contribute to enhancing trade exchange between the UAE and Uganda.

His Excellency affirmed that the SCCI appreciates the visit of the President of the Republic of Uganda, and looks forward to building on it and strengthening the bonds of relations between the Republic of Uganda and the Emirate of Sharjah, leading to cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of both sides. 

His Excellency added to “Sharjah 24”, that SCCI is honoured by the visit of the President of the Republic of Uganda, during which a meeting took place between businessmen and investors in the Emirate of Sharjah with the President of Uganda and his accompanying delegation, reviewing the most important investment and economic opportunities offered by the Emirate of Sharjah, as well as investment opportunities in the two countries.

His Excellency pointed out that this visit will contribute to increasing trade exchange between the UAE and Uganda, which witnessed a clear increase in recent years, noting that the SCCI organises visits of commercial delegations to the Republic of Uganda every year.
