Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. (3) of 2023 on the formation of Al Suyoh Suburb Council in the city of Sharjah.

The decree named the following members for Al Suyoh Suburb Council in Sharjah: 

1. Ibrahim Rashid Ali Al Kabouri Al Naqbi.
2. Ahmed Hassan Yahya Al Yasi.
3. Jassim Muhammad Bakhit Al Suwaidi.
4. Hareb Mohammed Hareb Al Rumaithi.
5. Khaled Salem Saeed Salem Al Nuaimi.
6. Salem Saif Salem Saeed Al Suwaidi.
7. Abdullah Abdul Rahman Ali Al Ansari.
8. Abdullah Nasser Ahmed Al Nuaimi.
9. Muhammad Ali Hussein Al Mannai.
10. Hilal Ahmed Abdullah Yousef Al Muharram.
11. Yousef Obaid Yousef Harmoul Al Shamsi.

The council chooses a chairman and a vice at its first meeting from among its members by either board agreement or direct secret ballot. The vice-chairman becomes acting chairman in the event of the chairman’s absence or vacant position. The executive regulations of the suburbs councils shall determine the duration of their occupation of the position.

The membership term of the council is four years, starting from the date of establishment. The council continues its work upon the end of its term until establishing a new one. Those whose membership term has ended may be re-appointed.
