Al Shamsi honours winners of Scientific Research Award

Sharjah24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, acclaimed the number of participants in the third edition of Scientific Research Award of the Police Academy, compared to the first and second editions, as it highlights the importance of the award in encouraging researchers to continue their journey in the research activities .
Under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Academy of Police Sciences Council, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and Vice Chairman of the Council, honoured the winners of the third edition of the Scientific Research Award of the Police Academy .

In exclusive statements to Sharjah 24, the Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief emphasised that this award gets follow-up from the Chairman of the Academy of Police Sciences Council, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and the members of the council.

Major General added that the number of participants in the award has changed from the first and second editions, as this changing reflects the importance of the award that encourages researchers to continue their journey in the research activities , works to spread the culture of scientific research and raises the quality of research outputs in the country.

Major General confirmed that the results and recommendations of the winning researches will be circulated to the concerned police departments and specialized organisations to confront criminal phenomena in order to benefit from them during the next stage and develop the provided services at the local and Arab levels.

At the end of his speech, Al Shamsi appreciated the participants in this award, wishing further success to them.
