Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) received a certificate of accreditation for the best work environment from the global Great Place to Work Foundation, in recognition of its efforts in the field of motivating employees and the effectiveness and impact of communication and internal communication between leadership and employees.

The Authority also honoured a number of distinguished departments that obtained the highest rates in Performance indicators in the field of establishing professional excellence for employees. expressing pride in belonging to the Authority and working in a team spirit.

Commenting on this, His Excellency Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, stressed SEWA’s keenness to attract competencies and distinguished cadres from citizens to work in its various departments, with its interest in evaluating the continuous performance of employees at all job levels, aiming to identify their requirements and raise the efficiency of human cadres, contributing in providing a positive work environment.


The Authority obtained a certificate of accreditation for the best work environment for the period from November 2022 to November 2023, which is granted by the American organisation "Great Place to Work", based on the questionnaire for the confidence index that was presented to employees to measure their experience in working in the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority.
