Sharjah 24 – WAM: Morocco and Croatia have joined the ranks of qualifying teams to the round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, being held in Qatar.

The Moroccan team defeated its Canadian counterpart 2-1, with Croatia drawing Belgium 0-0 on Thursday, in the third and last round of Group 6 matches in the first round of the tournament.

With this win, Morocco becomes the only Arabic national team to qualify to the second round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, after the valiant, yet fruitless, efforts of the Saudi and Tunisian teams.
