Sharjah24: CSR managers from different companies took part in an interactive workshop led by NAMA Women Advancement at the headquarters of General Women Union, Abu Dhabi.

The session  titled “Harnessing the power of businesses: How Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can advance gender equality” encouraged businesses to take a holistic approach to gender equality by promoting women empowerment through CSR initiatives; thereby supporting not only women within the organization, but also within the community. 

Discussions highlighted steps that companies can take to create innovative  programmes, partnerships, and initiatives that support women empowerment in society and drive sustainable action towards promoting gender equality in society at large.
