Sharjah 24: The neurosurgery team led by Dr. Satish Krishnan, a specialist in neurosurgery at Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, affiliated with the Emirates Health Services (EHS), succeeded in performing 3 rare, complex and delicate brain surgeries on three children aged between two and a half to 13 years. They suffered from various symptoms, including a high temperature and migraine cramps.

The Director of the Hospital, Dr. Arif Al Nooryani, confirmed that Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah has become one of the distinguished medical facilities that performs rare and complex surgeries not only at the local level, but also at the regional and global levels, pointing to the role of the Emirates Health Services and its keenness to raise the efficiency of cadres working in various medical specialisations and its application of the latest health practices, and the therapeutic evidence supporting international medical practices.

He explained that the three operations were carried out with complete success, as the children were able to return to their normal lives, due to the skill of the medical team that has extensive experience in the field of neurosurgery, in addition to the hospital’s provision of modern medical techniques, which strengthened its position and raised its status and the general competitiveness of the health services sector.
