Sharjah24: The Global Media Congress (GMC) witnessed an interactive dialogue, presented by the first "Metaverse" broadcaster, with Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, Director General of the Emirates News Agency "WAM" and Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the GMC, using techniques that combine physical and virtual augmented reality.

Al Raisi stressed, in his statements to "Sharjah 24", that the metaverse technology has become a key point to the future, for the world is undergoing constant transformations. In this event, Al Raisi delivered a message to media professionals that technology has become part of media work, which is subject to sustainable development, stressing that this technology is coming without any doubt, one way or another.

The Director General concluded the interview, calling on the media professionals to be prepared for this upcoming phase by constantly developing the media technical aspects and media content, and studying contemporary challenges, in order to develop appropriate solutions to all possible obstacles.
