Sharjah24: In line with the activities of the 41st edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2022), being organised by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) under the slogan 'Spread the word' at Expo Centre Sharjah, the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated to the Sharjah Education Council presented a set of awareness leaflets on the importance of reading, encouraging parents, students, and community members to visit the book fair and highlighting the importance of reading.

The initiative sheds light on the Council’s distinguished role in raising awareness about the significance of reading among society’s individuals. The Council published designs dedicated to encouraging reading on a daily basis on the its social media accounts.

His Excellency Mohammed Rashid Rashoud Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Parents Council in Dibba Al-Hisn expressed his sincere thanks to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for providing public and government libraries in the emirate with the latest publications of the publishing houses participating in the Sharjah International Book Fair, contributing in encouraging community’s members to read.
