Sharjah24:In conjunction with World Bicycle Day, which falls on October 30 of each year, Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) celebrated the organisation of the second edition of the Khorfakkan Clouds Challenge for five main categories, witnessing a distinguished interaction among the 120 male and female participants.

The sporting event was held in cooperation with the UAE Cycle Federation, the Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa, Al Qudra Sports Services, the Sharjah Police General Command, the Khorfakkan Sports & Cultural Club, and a number of cooperating and supportive bodies and institutions. The 8- kilometers race started in front of the Oceanic Hotel and ended at Al Suhub Rest Area.

The event witnessed and participated in the coronation of the winners Sheikh Faisal bin Humaid Al Qasimi, president of the Arab Cycling Federation, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Mansour Buassiba, President of the UAE Cycle Federation, His Excellency Major General Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Murr, President of the UAE Athletics Federation, and His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Hammadi, Board Member Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Salem Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Sports Club, as well as several other dignitaries.
