Sharjah 24: At the Paddle Shot Stadiums in Kalba, 64 players from 32 teams played in the first-ever Al Hefaiyah Padel Tournament, won by Issa Al Shaibani and Hamid Abdullah as part of the Sharjah Sports Council's initiative to promote the sport to the largest number of spectators in the Emirate through a partnership with "Paddle Shot" and Al Qudra Sports Services.

At the end of the championship and the crowning of the winners, Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office in Kalba, Sheikh Saqr bin Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council Issa Hilal Al Hazami, and a number of sports officials were present.

Issa Hilal thanked Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi for supporting the tournament and praised the event's success in its first year and the fact that so many players took part.
