Sharjah 24 – KUNA: The European Union Sunday urged Russia to revert its decision to suspend its involvement in the international deal that allows Ukraine to export grain from its Black Sea ports after attacks on its fleet.
"Russia’s decision to suspend participation in the Black Sea deal puts at risks the main export route of much needed grain and fertilisers to address the global food crisis caused by its military campaign in Ukraine," EU High Representative Josep Borrell said in a message on his twitter account."The EU urges Russia to revert its decision," he added.
The Russian decision comes after Moscow accused Ukraine of a "massive" drone attack on its Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Crimea, yesterday.
