Sharjah 24: The Ministry of Defence signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sharjah Sports Council, which focused on the exchange of technical and administrative expertise in the sports field, the exchange of information and sports knowledge, and the exchange of participation in sports and community programmes, activities and initiatives.

It also included the exchange of publications in the sports field.

This was at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Defence, Major General Salem Saeed Ghafan Al Jabri, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, and Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, signed the MoU.
