Sharjah24 – AFP: Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro visits Las Tejerias, after a landslide swept through the town, killing at least 36. "We have not experienced a landslide of such magnitude in Venezuela in many years," says Maduro.

Commenting on this, Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela pointed out, "We are facing a zone of total catastrophe, a disaster zone. We have not experienced a landslide of such magnitude in Venezuela in many years."

The President of Venezuela added, "There are 34 dead who have been found and more than 60 missing. So far we have counted almost 400 houses that are completely destroyed, missing, and 400 more houses with some partial damage. We are talking about 800 houses, for now, because the higher we go up the more damage we find."
