Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Bataeh Municipal Council, opened the meeting of the council from the first regular session of the eighteenth annual term, based on Emiri Decree No. 47 of 2022 inviting the municipal councils of the Emirate of Sharjah to convene.

In the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Saluma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Bataeh Municipality, members of the council and its secretariat.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi extended my thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness’ unlimited support, and keenness to provide all means of a decent life and raise the quality of life for all citizens on the Emirate of Sharjah. In addition to expressing sincere appreciation to Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, for continuous support to improve the system of government and service work in the Emirate.

After reciting Emiri Decree No. 47 of 2022 regarding inviting municipal councils in the Emirate of Sharjah to convene for the first regular session of the eighteenth annual term, a detailed report on the work, performance and achievements of the council and the committees during the last period was reviewed.

Then the council was briefed on the topics listed on its agenda, including reviewing the incoming topics and taking the necessary measures and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
