Sharjah24: Sharjah Expo Center affirmed its keenness to move forward with the humanitarian approach of the UAE, and to support efforts that enhance the values of social responsibility and contribute to alleviating suffering and providing relief to the needy, noting that humanitarian work is an integral part of the center's work plans, institutional values and strategic directions, which always support projects of giving and humanity led by the UAE around the world.

This came during the coordination meeting that was held at the Expo Center Sharjah, between His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of the Expo Center Sharjah, and His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the Sharjah Charity International, and in the presence of a number of officials from both sides. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa reviewed center's ongoing preparations to host the activities of the "We are with you" initiative organised by charitable organisations in the UAE with the aim of supporting and providing relief to those affected by torrential rains and floods in the Pakistan.

Al Midfa stressed that the Sharjah Expo Center's hosting of the "We are with you" initiative stems from its work plans and strategy aimed at playing a fundamental and effective role in the various development and humanitarian efforts of the country, based on the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Council Supreme Ruler of Sharjah.

Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has officially started working to support the "We are with you" campaign, which will be held on September 10 at Expo Sharjah in collaboration with many charitable organisations in the country to facilitate the compilation of relief packages for those affected by the floods.
