Sharjah24: Community Police Department of the Sharjah Police General Command launched an awareness initiative aimed at reaching the foreign members living in the cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, in order to raise their sense of security about the various negative phenomena that may occur in society.

The awareness initiative began with a field visit to the "Bengali Association in the Emirate of Sharjah", where the initiative program includes organizing a number of visits to foreign associations of various nationalities at their headquarters in the emirate, and providing them with a package of security awareness programs such as awareness lectures and workshops. 

Lt. Colonel Jassim Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Head of the Community Policing Department at Sharjah Police, said: "The Community Police Department is keen on its continuity in organizing a package of annual initiatives for various segments and groups of society to spread security awareness in its various fields.

The Bengali Society in the Emirate commended the efforts of the Sharjah Police General Command in enhancing security and safety through its continuous awareness-raising initiative in spreading security awareness among members of society of all segments of their different nationalities.
