Sharjah 24: The activities of the Autumn 2022 programme, organised by the Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF), have been launched in Al Mureijah Art Spaces, and included a group of distinguished art exhibitions.

Ali Murad, spokesperson for the Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF), confirmed that the SAF launched the Autumn 2022 programme, in Al Mureijah Art Spaces, which includes a group of art exhibitions.

He added to “Sharjah 24” that the first exhibition, "Pop South Asia", held in cooperation with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) in New Delhi, presents a group of artworks inspired by folk arts in South Asia, which emulate national identity and belonging.

He pointed out that the second exhibition, "Watch & Chill 2.0: Streaming Senses", is a platform specialised in "video art" works, stating that SAF has chosen 6 works to be included in the exhibition, which are works that simulate the impact of technology on human perception and social relations. This platform gained its idea from the digital videos that recently spread through social media during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

He invited the public to visit its exhibitions, which will continue until next December.
