Sharjah 24: Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), welcomed all employees at the annual meeting at the start of the new academic year. She wished them and all students and parents a successful year and said that "3172" people with disabilities used the city's services during the previous academic year.

She mentioned the city's agreements with the French Center of the International Institute of the International Theatre Institute of "UNESCO," the Sharjah Sports Council, the "Ynmo" e-marketing platform, the Dubai Islamic Bank, and the American University in the UAE .

In the past year, the city hosted a scientific conference on the quality of life for people with severe and multiple impairments, a virtual forum on the quality of inclusive education, a forum for services provided to people with disabilities by government and private institutions in Kalba, and several meetings and seminars.

Al Yafei highlighted the completion of the new building for the Khor Fakkan city branch as one of the major development projects. She spoke about the city's music therapy programme and its partnership with the Korean University of Iowa, Warraqin Souk, and other organisations that have been running since 2013.
