Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has completed the installation and commissioning of road lighting poles for Al Ruqaiba area in Al Suyouh Suburb with 25 km of cables have been extended and more than 300 lighting poles operated in an immediate response to the demands of the people of the area and in accordance with the authority’s plan to operate the lighting in residential areas.

Dr. Eng. Hassan Al Zarooni, Director of the Electricity Distribution Department at SEWA, confirmed that street and road lighting projects are continuing in all regions, according to a plan and timetable, with high specifications and quality, and using energy-saving flashlights and lamps, which are commensurate with highways, main and side streets, and providing lighting for areas, using the latest technology standards, to meet the needs of the population, strengthen infrastructure, and develop its facilities.
