Sharjah 24: Not a moment passes by without humanitarian heroes going above and beyond to alleviate the sufferings of vulnerable people and save lives. These efforts must be recognised and celebrated as they stand tall in the face of monumental challenges of conflict, climate change, a global pandemic, hunger and displacement.

In her statement on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day 2022, Mariam Al Hammadi, Director, The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), said on the World Humanitarian Day 2022, “Here in Sharjah and the UAE, we are resolutely committed to doing our best to help the millions of women, men and children whose lives have been upended by crises.
