Sharjah24 – AFP: The international flower festival is held in Colombia's second-largest city Medellin on Monday.

Thousands of people attended the festival that was held without coronavirus restrictions.

Flower vendors exhibited their flowers, which they made with great efforts, during the parade.

Speaking to the Anadolu Agency Medellin mayor Daniel Quintero Calle said that the festival is not cultural heritage only for Medellin but also for humanity.

The owners of the flower that received the most votes in 7 categories were awarded by the Medellin Municipality at the festival.

The 65th edition of the festival was held with the participation of 520 flower producers.

The festival usually takes place over a week in August and features all kinds of food, concerts, and flower-themed activities.
