Sharjah24: Al Hira Literary Council of Sharjah Department of Culture witnessed a poetry session presented by Lamia Al Saigal, in which a group of poets participated: Aisha Al Shehhi, Sumaya Al Naoor, and Alaa Ahmaro, in the presence of Butti Al Mazloum, Director of the Council, and several intellectuals, poets and enthusiasts.

At first, Al Saigal confirmed that folk poetry is witnessing a great glow thanks to the care and attention of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, noting that folk poetry and cultural events are one of the vital tools in preserving the heritage folklore of peoples. 

The session began with a briefing on the participating poets, highlighted the essential academic journey, mentioned their literary achievements, and discussed poetic themes such as patriotism, flirtatiousness, social issues, and other vital topics.
