Sharjah 24: Abdullah Balajid Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the Summer Activities at Mlieha Sports Club, started the summer activities as part of Sharjah Sports Council's four-week event with the theme "Our Distinguished Holiday."

Members of the club are encouraged to spend their leisure time participating in constructive activities and programmes that promote national identity and help improve skills through field experiments, as well as introduce the Emirate of Sharjah and its tourist attractions.

At the opening, the Sharjah Sporting Council discussed the cultural and sports programmes that will be implemented during the summer activity weeks.

According to Chairman Al Ketbi, Mleiha club's summer activity programme includes a wide range of sporting and cultural events as well as social and recreational activities, all of which help to strengthen community ties and provide the desired outcomes for the participants from the Mleiha area and its surrounding areas, as envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
