Arab Parliament for Child organises a dialogue session

Sharjah24: The Arab Parliament for the Child, one of the institutions affiliated with the League of Arab States, organised a dialogue session entitled “Inspirational experiences presented by elite parliamentarians” at the headquarters of the Sharjah Consultative Council, United Arab Emirates.
The session organized on the occasion of the International Day of Parliamentary Action, in cooperation with the Arab Parliament for the Child, the Sharjah Consultative Council and the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for the Industry of Leaders and Innovators, were attended by Ali Mihad Al-Suwaidi, Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah; Ahmed Saeed Al-Jarwan, Secretary-General of the Consultative Council; Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Parliament Al-Arabi for the Child ; Moza Muhammad Al-Shamsi, Deputy Director of Sharjah Youth Foundation, from the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation.

A group of members of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, represented by Sharjah children and Sharjah youth, also participated in the dialogue session.

Speaking at the session were Her Excellency Shatha Alai Al Naqbi, Member of the Federal National Council;  Fatima Ali Al Muhairi, Member of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Family Affairs Committee; Rashid Saif Al Tunaiji, former Chairman of the Sharjah Children’s Shura Council, Member of the Sharjah Youth Shura Council; Muzna Al Ameri, Member of the Arab Parliament for the Child, Member of the UAE Parliament for the Child The session was moderated by Abdullah Badr Al Ali, a member of the UAE Parliament for the Child.

His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout stated at the beginning of the session that it is important because it raises on the International Day of Parliamentary Action and highlights the various national efforts that enhance the child's march towards exercising his parliamentary role in light of the keenness of the Arab League and Arab countries to enable the child to exercise his parliamentary role in serving his country and society.

He pointed to the importance of providing the child with the integrated practice of working in Parliament and qualifying him to be future leaders in their countries, referring to the great and generous support provided by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to the Arab Parliament for the child and his children. Al Barout pointed out that the Ruler of Sharjah sees In childhood, the future of our Arab countries and their hope to complete their renaissance. 

The guests of the dialogue session spoke about a number of themes that converged in a statement of the parliamentary achievements in the UAE, in light of the unlimited support of the wise leadership in enabling citizens, adults and children, to exercise their role in the decision-making process and in parliamentary work.

His Excellency Shatha Alai Al Naqbi, a member of the Federal National Council, confirmed in her speech the establishment of the Federal National Council as the parliament that expresses the people of the Emirates and the launch of its work on a set of national premises that reflect the thought of wise leadership, including the political empowerment program of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which was announced in 2005 , and the directives and recommendations put forward during the meetings with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, , and Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates.

She reviewed the achievements of the Federal National Council and its roles in serving the country, as well as its roles with the outside world by updating and developing legislation, discussing issues and adopting recommendations regarding them, and through its supporting and guiding role and support for the government's work in taking care of the affairs of the country and citizens. Al-Naqbi indicated that the wise leadership encourages the child to work. 

Then, Her Excellency Fatima Ali Al Muhairi, Member of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Family Affairs Committee, Parliamentary Action, dedicated her intervention to the mechanisms of parliamentary work, which expresses the system of excellence and development, in which the community, through its members or deputies, has the voice to carry their aspirations to government agencies and to represent them in decision-making and issuance of recommendations. .

At the end of the dialogue session, His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of the Parliament for the Arab Child, honored His Excellency Ali Mehd Al-Suwaidi, Chairman of the Consultative Council, and Moza Al-Shamsi, Deputy Director of Sharjah Youth, from the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, in addition to honoring the speakers and speakers participating in the dialogue session.
