Sharjah 24: Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, his deputy, Abdul Malik Mohammed Jani, and other members recently met at Al Dhaid Club to thank His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for granting AED27 million to those who achieved sporting success in the clubs for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons.

Council members promised to support clubs in winning championships and titles in order to improve the profile of the emirate and country on local and worldwide scales.

The council praised Al Dhaid Club for its work to welcome President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of Al Dhaid city who came to greet him.

The Board approved a number of committees, projects, and ideas during the meeting. The Board was also kept up-to-date on the work and plans of the committees on investments and sports marketing, media and digital transformation, and strategic foresight during the meeting.
