Sharjah Ladies Club in Khorfakkan concludes "Durrat Al Sharq"

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Ladies Club in the Khorfakkan branch concluded the activities of the "Durrat Al Sharq" exhibition, which was held from 26 to 30 last May at the club's branch in Khorfakkan.
Mona Al Ali, Deputy Director of Sharjah Ladies Club, Khorfakkan Branch, said this is the first edition of the "Durrat Al Sharq" exhibition, which coincides with the return of the economic and promotional activities and events, business recovery and release of the precautionary measures taken to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mona Al Ali pointed out that Khorfakkan is characterised by a diversified economic activity and a rich commercial movement due to its unique location on the eastern coast of the UAE, which makes such exhibitions able to attract exhibitors to participate, especially productive families, women and entrepreneurs through what they offer.

Mona Al Ali added that during 2022, the branch will implement a well-thought-out plan to restore the momentum of such commercial events and continue efforts in promoting comprehensive development in Khorfakkan.

Mona Al Ali stressed the keenness of the Sharjah Ladies Club to translate the directives of wise leadership in the UAE led by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting the endeavours and programmes of economic empowerment of Emirati women, raising their effective competitiveness in all fields, and directing them towards promising economic sectors that meet the needs of members of society. 

Mona Al Ali explained that the exhibition's success in attracting 860 visitors demonstrates the ability of Emirati women to innovate and innovate in the commercial field, with their ambition and passion to provide the best for their community through small projects capable of development, continuity and expansion in the future, which is in line with the club's efforts in its continuous support for female entrepreneurs and projects of productive families.
