Sharjah24: Prof. Dr. Awaad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University (AQU), honoured the students of the College of Economics and Administration who won the first place in the “Trade Initiative in the Financial Markets of the Middle East 2022” competition, on Tuesday morning at his office at the university’s headquarters in the city of Sharjah.

The college students demonstrated excellence in the competition, which was organized by the Rotman Foundation for International Trade in Canada, based on the standards of sustainable environment, community service and governance, with the participation of more than 40 universities in the Middle East.

The competition aimed to attract talented students from the Middle East region to experience the financial markets in a realistic environment that reflects their skills in investment, decision-making and leadership, with a focus on environmental and sustainable practices when making financial decisions.
