SSSD to launch social service conference on Wednesday

Sharjah24: Under the generous patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) will launch on Wednesday the 13th social service conference, under the slogan "Partnerships that achieve protection", at Al Jawaher Hall for Events and Conferences in Sharjah, on May 25-26.
It is expected that more than 450 people will participate in the conference, with 15 working papers and 8 training workshops, The topic of "Protection between Challenges and Solutions", will be addressed by Hanadi Al Yafei, Director of the Child Safety Department, which deals with the topic of "Awareness and Prevention"; Abdul Rahman Shaheen Al Hammadi, First Deputy - Public Prosecution will deal with the topic "Laws, Legislations and Protection Measures"; Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi, Director of Knowledge Management in the Department of Social Services in Sharjah, raises the issue of “coordination and institutional check in the field of protection”; Moza Al-Shoumy, Vice-President of the Emirates Child Protection Association, speaking on the topic of “Professional development for workers in the field of protection”, Saeed Abdullah, Information Technology Adviser, Director of Information, talking about “Investing data in the field of protection to support policies”, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Ansari, Director of the Department of Information Community events, awareness-raising and public relations deals with the issue of "rehabilitation and integration of victims of violence".

8 training workshops will be held each addressing two topics, where Dr. Anita Sani, an educational expert in the management of people of determination, will participate on the topic “Psychological assessment of children victims of violence.” Protection in the UAE Legislation. The second workshop is entitled “The Role of Forensic Medicine in Diagnosing Child Abuse.” Zina Badr bin Issa, a foster mother and founder of the Roots initiative to support mothers and foster families, will participate in the “Social Integration of the Custodian and Foster Families” workshop.
