Sharjah24: The Committee for the Preparation of Draft Recommendations in Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) prepared, during its meeting at the council's headquarters, the recommendations to be submitted in next session to discuss the policy of the General Police Command.

The meeting was held on Thursday and was chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Committee, in the presence of its members, His Excellency Muhammad Ali Muhammad Al Naqbi, Rapporteur of the Committee; His Excellency Ahmed Salem Saif Ghanem Al Zaabi; His Excellency Ali Saeed bin Sharara Al Ketbi; His Excellency Muhammad Abdullah bin Shamil Al Ketbi, and the General Secretariat of the Council Abdulaziz bin Khadem, Deputy Director of the Department of Sessions and Committees Affairs.

The committee discussed various topics raised by members of the council during the discussion of the policy of the General Command of Sharjah Police in the fifteenth session, which was held as part of the council’s work for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term.

A number of recommendations were addressed at the conclusion of the council’s discussion of the roles and tasks of the police , as well as addressing provision of a local ambulance to the police and the initiation of the construction of the rehabilitation center building for the treatment of drug addicts.

During its preparation of the recommendations, the committee emphasized the keenness provided by the Sharjah Consultative Council to the work of the General Command of Sharjah Police by supporting its security services and departments to contribute to saving lives and securing property.
